Typesetting EPS files

Texifier’s live typesetter does not support rendering EPS files.

If you want to typeset vector graphics, please export them as PDFs rather than using the EPS format. PDFs can be included the same as any other graphics file, using the graphicx package, and the \includegraphics{} command.

If you cannot convert your EPS files to PDF, the alternatives on macOS are as follows,

  • If you’ve download Texifier from our website directly, please use the external local typesetter. You have to ensure that an external LaTeX distribution is installed on your computer. Please see apps/typesetting/typesetters/external/managing-external-typesetters for more.

  • If you’ve download Texifier from Apple’s App Store, please use the cloud typesetter.
